Roses....Lots and lots of roses July 15 2014

Hey all
Wow what a day.
I'm spending the night in West Yellowstone....nice little town.
Today I rode Barefoot Pass and Yellowstone Park.
Tomorrow I will head up to Bozeman and check out the Harley Dealer.
The spend the night in Hamilton MT.
I changed my route a little to shorten the drive.

This was my second time doing Barefoot Pass and it's still one of my favorite rides.
The pics should be in order so breakfast, then Red Lodge, the Barefoot then Cooke city and then Yellowstone.
That white stuff on the ground in a couple pics is hail.

Montana Roses July 14 2014

Hey all.
I just pulled into Red Lodge Montana.
I'm at the Foster and Logan having diner and spending the night at the Alpine Lodge.
Well over 900 kms today but that's it for slabing and blazing.
No more Interstates for this guy.
From now on its cruising.
Tomorrow I head towards Yellowstone.
Plan is to be in Aberdeen Washington on Saturday.
Food just came so enjoy the pics.

The roses smell sweet July 13 2014

Wow what a great day.
I left Escanaba first thing this morning and am now spending the night in Casselton ND.
Just finished diner and a nice cold beer.
Did about 900 kms today.
Tomorrow I will make it to Billings.
Little story from today....
So just after taking pictures of Paul Bunyan 3 deer walk across the highway in front of me and stop.
In my best Shrek voice I yell out "SHUT UP DONKY"
The deer stop and look at me.
To get them moving I start honking the horn.
Not realizing that I am beside a golf course the guy putting on the 18th green is not impressed.
He starts shaking his putter at me yelling whatever.
I tell him to "STFU and ITS Prolly FOR DOUBLE BOGGIE ANYWAY"
Eventually momma and the 2 kids make there way across the highway.
I am pissed that I didn't get a pic!!!

West Coast Trip This time I'm gonna stop and smell the roses July 12 2014

Hey all
I'm spending the night in Escanaba MI
Had rain a couple times today but mostly uneventful for over 900 kms
Was late when I got to the motel so had to settle for pizza.
I swore to myself that I would eat better this trip.
Guess I'll start tomorrow.
Anyway the pizza place is a mom and pop and didnt come in a box but rather a paper bag.
First time I have ever seen this.
It was a great pizza and I'll sleep tonight with a full belly
Weather is looking better for tomorrow so hopefully I'll get lots of miles in.
