Feel the heat and smell more roses July 17 2014

Hey all.
I'm in Polson MT and spending the night here
Polson is a great little town north of Missoula and just south of Glacier Park.
Glacier was a great ride and the scenery was simply breathtaking.
I'm so glad I made it a day trip even though it was a pretty long day doing over 700 kms.
And man was it hot today
At one point it was up to 97f
It was a little hazy today but I still managed to get some great pics.
Today is my last day in Montana....tomorrow I move on to Orofino Idaho
Supper last night was from the grocery store beside the motel.
Sandwich salad apple pie a drink for 8 bucks :)

Roses flourish in the Montana heat July 16 2014

Hey all.
I'm in Hamilton MT for the night staying at the Town House Inn.
2 great canyon runs today.
It got quite warm this afternoon but it was a great day....94f
I've been staying with my route.
The only changes I have made have been to where I am going to spend the night.
I did this so I didn't have anymore 10 and 12 hour days in the saddle.
But I am considering a drastic change in the route.
I've run into quite a few riders coming from Glacier Park.
I'll think about it through the night and decide in the morning.
