CO WY MT SD and Sturgis 2015 Tuesday Night.

Hey all.
So I'm sitting in the Denver Airport.
I'll be here awhile.
My flight doesn't leave for another 3 hours.
Found a seat with an outlet so I'm able to update and charge at the same time.
So here's the update......
The trailer is loaded with all the bikes and is headed back home.
Travis and Merk are on a plane back to Ontario
I'm sitting in a bar having a water looking back on the trip
It really did turn out pretty great.
I got to see a lot of things that I missed last year.
We didn't get to do everything in Sturgis but that's ok.
I'll go through the days as best I can.
First day of rinding we did the Rocky Mountains and it was a great ride.
Brian got lots of it on his GoPro and I can't wait to see it.
The next day we did the Great Tetons and they are absolutely stunning.
Next day we went to one of my favorite places Red Lodge.
I wish we could of spent 2 days here....maybe next time.
Then we blazed down to Custer...stopping at Ten Sleep for lunch...what a cool biker bar.
We then spend 3 nights are the Rock Crest then 2 more nights in the park.
You would think that spending that much time in Custer you would be rested but I got to tell you I'm pretty tired.
I knew it was going be busy this year but at times it was really ridiculous as to the amount of bikes.
They are estimating 1.7 million people and 1 million bikes.
We were so lucky with the routes I picked that we didn't get jacked up in traffic jams.
If I were to change anything it would be 2 nights in Red Lodge and a shorter ride on the last day.
As I sit here drinking my water I can't help but feel like I just got my ass kicked.
I'll fix that in the future.

Oh shit...I can't believe I almost forgot this.
While we were having breakfast in Red Lodge Travis meets up with people that he knows from Haliburton.
What are the freeking odds of that.

CO WY MT SD and Sturgis 2015 Mon morning

Hey all...sorry this is so late.
Sorry I didn't post last night.
My Playbook took a shit for a couple days.
Seems to be fine now.
We are staying inside the park at a place called Blue Belle Lodge.
It's a great place and really peaceful.
Today we plan on having an easy day as we head over to Sylvan Lake where we will spend our last night here.
I'm not sure how much of inside the park we will see as a route hasn't been planned yet.
I think everyone wants a easy day as yesterday was pretty long.
We went into Sturgis for breakfast then we headed out to where Buffalo Chip and the rest of the camp grounds are.
It was then that we discovered we would not be returning to Sturgis
There was a parade of bikes heading into town that was a couple of miles long.
So we decided to go around it.
There an old stone house out in the country that they convert into a bar for the rally so we headed there for a beer then made our way back to Custer.
It's been a fantastic trip and we all have really enjoyed it.
We are looking forward to an easy day today.
